Description

The Katadyn BeFree 1 L filtering bottle is a simple, lightweight and effective solution for drinking safe water during outdoor activities. Designed for adventurers who want to travel light, it features a hollow fibre filter capable of removing bacteria, cysts and sediments down to 0.1 micron.

The BeFree stands out for its flexibility and lightweight design: when empty, the bottle folds flat and tucks into a pack pocket or even a jacket pocket. At just 59 g, it's one of the lightest filtration systems on the market.

Its EZ-Clean Membrane filter can treat up to 1,000 litres of water at a flow rate of around 2 L/min, making it ideal for frequent use. Maintenance is straightforward: simply rinse the membrane with clean water — no special equipment required.

The sport cap with bite valve protects the filter and makes drinking on the go effortless, whether you're hiking, trail running, or travelling. The bottle is compatible with fresh water only (not salt water or chemically contaminated water).
