The Black Diamond Spot 400 headlamp is a compact, high-performance lighting solution designed for outdoor activities. With a maximum output of 400 lumens, it provides reliable illumination across a wide range of situations: night hiking, pre-dawn ski touring, late-day climbing, or bivouacking.

Its compact, balanced design improves wearing comfort on the head, even during extended use. The user interface has been redesigned with a second button for easier navigation between the different lighting modes. PowerTap technology also allows you to instantly adjust the light output with a simple gesture.

The Spot 400 offers great versatility when it comes to power. It can run on either the Black Diamond BD 1500 Li-ion rechargeable battery (sold separately) or three standard AAA batteries. This dual power option makes it easy to adapt the headlamp to your needs and conditions in the field.

The optimised optical unit improves the power and quality of the beam, while multiple settings allow you to adapt the lighting to different situations. A proximity lighting mode is particularly useful for camp tasks such as meal prep, reading, or organising gear. Its IPX8-rated waterproof housing protects the headlamp against wet conditions.
