Description
The Arcturus Survival Blanket is a versatile piece of kit designed to improve thermal protection during outdoor activities or emergency situations. Its double-sided construction combines a durable polyester fabric with an aluminised film capable of reflecting up to 90% of body heat.
At 213 x 152 cm (84 x 60 in), it provides a large enough surface to cover one person and part of their gear. It can also be used as an emergency tarp, groundsheet, rain cover or temporary shelter.
Metal eyelets at all four corners make it easy to secure with ropes, bungee cords or tent pegs. This setup makes it straightforward to rig around a campsite or between multiple anchor points.
The blanket weighs approximately 480 g (17 oz) and folds down to a compact size. Reusable, waterproof and tear-resistant, it is a long-lasting alternative to single-use survival blankets.
Suited to hiking, bivouacking, bushcraft or as a vehicle emergency kit, it can be kept within easy reach to deal with a sudden drop in temperature or harsh weather conditions.
