Fancy a weekend under the stars but don't have the right kit? Freezedried & Co is launching equipment hire this summer until the autumn half-term at its Lorient shop. Our aim? To enable as many people as possible to equip themselves with quality gear for a successful adventure without buying equipment that will spend the rest of the year gathering dust in a cupboard.

How does it work?
You can hire the above equipment for a minimum of 3 days and for as long as you need. Equipment collection takes place the day before or on the start day of hire. Returns within 72 hours of your return. Equipment can be reserved by phone or email or directly in-shop if you wish to view the equipment beforehand, during opening hours and subject to availability (Monday to Saturday: 10:00 to 19:00.)
Deposit
Each item is cleaned and disinfected between rentals.
A deposit is required for each item; when renting multiple items, the amounts are added together.
The deposit can be paid by cheque or card pre-authorisation (no actual charge).
In case of incident or damage, please notify us by email or phone and take photos.
Product returns
Tents, sleeping mats and sleeping bags must be dry and free from all debris, dust, sand, and dirt.
If the product is returned in poor condition, cleaning, repairs or replacement of missing parts will be charged.
Upon return, we inspect the equipment and assess the cost of repairs or have them estimated by a specialist repairer.
Depending on the extent of repairs and corresponding cost, we may also offer you the option to keep the product at a reduced price.
N.B.: the hire service is reserved for shop customers. Online rental is not available.
