The Gossamer Gear PotPocket insulating cover is designed to keep your meals warm during your outdoor adventures. Lightweight and compact, it provides an effective solution for improving the thermal insulation of your hiking pots.
Made from PE foam covered with a heat-reflective polyester film, then wrapped in an ultralight Tyvek cover, the PotPocket delivers effective insulation while remaining easy to clean. If food spills or splatters inside, the interior wipes clean with a single sponge. This clever design keeps your meals warm for longer — whether after cooking or during the rehydration phase of your freeze dried meals.
Available in two sizes, it fits most cooking pots used in hiking:
- Medium size: for pots from 550 to 750 ml, diameter up to 9.5 cm (3.7 in)
- Large size: for pots from 750 to 1,100 ml, diameter up to 11.5 cm (4.5 in)
The tapered top makes it easy to fold away the cover after use. A small integrated handle also simplifies handling, even with gloves on. And when you're not cooking, the PotPocket can also double as a storage sleeve for your cooking system.
