The Zpacks Duplex tent is designed for two people. Weighing in at just 525g, it's a popular choice with thru-hikers and those who like to travel light.

Unlike its competitors of the same weight, the Zpacks Duplex offers more space. Its 114 cm width allows two Regular size mattresses (51 or 55 cm wide, depending on the brand) to pass through. And with a height of 122 cm, you'll be able to sit comfortably.

Zpacks uses dyneema to achieve these attractive features. This material is both light and strong. You don't need a floor mat to protect it. Dyneema is also water-repellent and has not been treated with silicone or polyurethane. This still provides an excellent barrier against the rain. Finally, this material is easy to repair with patches in the event of a tear.

The other special feature of the Zpacks Duplex tent is its assembly. Gone are the heavy, bulky and fragile poles, replaced by hiking poles. All you have to do is stretch the fabric on both sides with your poles. It's quick and easy, which is always appreciated after a hard day's work.

The Duplex has two doors and two apses, so your adventure companion won't be in the way when you enter or leave. As it is a single-wall model, it is advisable to ventilate it well to prevent condensation at night. Finally, tent pegs are not supplied. We recommend that you use at least 8 to tighten the fabric properly.
