Description

The Kelly Kettle was created in Ireland decades ago, but has since spread far and wide. It is a reliable and durable accessory that has proven itself to be a popular choice for many outdoor enthusiasts, starting with bushcraft.

This ingenious system allows you to boil very quickly. Simply place the fuel in the lower part of the stove and light it. Then point the holes into the wind for maximum efficiency. After filling the kettle, place it on the stove. This ingenious system has a chimney that allows you to replenish the fire with pine cones and other fuels.

If you need to cook, the kettle can be removed. By putting a grill on the stove, you can put your cooking gear on or barbecue in the open air. Finally, the cap is designed with a green whistle, so you know when the water has boiled.

The Kelly Kettle Base Camp is :

- A capacity of 1.6 L

- Ideal for groups or families

- Versatile, robust and durable over time

Instructions
  • 1. Remove the protective cap from the kettle and fill the kettle with 1.6 litres of water. Do not replace the cap - the water spout must be free of obstructions when the kettle is in use
  • 2. Remove the fire base from the bottom of the kettle and place the base on level ground. Fill the base with fuel (dry grass, newspaper, etc.).
  • 3. Light the fuel and face the holes in the base into the wind for best performance if necessary.
  • 4. Insert additional fuel through the flue if required.
  • 5. When the water is boiling, use both hands to hold the handle at a 90° angle to the body of the kettle and lift the kettle off the fire base. Once clear of the fire, use the handle and chain to pour out the boiling water.
