Description
Rye bread is a tasty German bread. It is to its slow cooking, lasting up to 20 hours, that pumpernickel owes its sweet taste and dark brown colour. Rest assured, you won’t need to spend 20 hours making it! You just have to open the box, it’s already ready to eat. And unlike rye bread sold in bakeries, it can be kept for 15 years.
This bread is therefore a very popular survival food. Its small box does not clutter your pantry and it can be easily transported in a backpack or in the car. Rich in carbohydrates, this rye bread will provide you with a significant source of energy. In addition, it can also be consumed during long stays at sea or any other expedition.
