Description
The Petzl Swift RL is one of the French brand’s best-selling models, and for good reason! It offers a great power-to-lightness ratio with 900 lumens for only 100 g. Its versatility makes it suitable for all types of outdoor activities, from hiking to trail-running and mountaineering.
The Petzl Swift RL Headlamp is equipped with a mixed beam allowing very good vision both far and near. The intensity of the lighting is adjustable in 3 modes (Standard Lighting): proximity, travel and far vision. For more comfort, you can choose the Reactive Lighting mode. This makes it possible to adapt the intensity of the lighting according to the luminosity. A sensor assesses the ambient light and adapts the power of the lighting accordingly. It is an important comfort since you will no longer need to adjust your headlamp every 5 minutes.
The headband is reflective at the back to be seen well at night. This same headband can be removed to be cleaned. In case of breakage or wear, it is possible to buy a replacement headband. You won’t need to buy a new front end. In addition, if you are uncomfortable with a headband on your head, you can wear the Swift RL at neck level. The lamp can be tilted to illuminate the desired location perfectly.
In terms of the battery, the Petzl Swift RL has very good autonomy. With medium lighting in Reactive Lighting mode, this allows you to see up to 55 m for 5 hours. To recharge it, a micro-USB type B cable is supplied with the headlamp. Finally, a LOCK function prevents accidental ignition during transport.
