Maurten Drink Mix 320 Caf 100 is a drink rich in carbohydrates, developed using hydrogel technology. By adding water to the solution, you get your drink. The acidity of the stomach will then create a hydrogel which will trap the sugars and allow them to be transported quickly to the intestine. This is the first advantage of the hydrogel: easy digestion and no intestinal problems.
Once in the intestines, the sugars are released and absorbed in large quantities. This is the second advantage of the hydrogel. Where conventional drinks can assimilate 60 g of carbohydrates per hour, hydrogel drinks offer the possibility of absorbing up to 90 g per hour. Perfect for giving yourself a boost during a lengthy exertion!
