Description
The Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Extreme inflatable mattress is the most insulated version of the best selling Ether Light XT range of the Australian brand. With its R-Value of 6.2, you will be able to bivouac all year round, in any weather conditions. This strong insulation is possible thanks to Thermolite materials (double density layers of insulation).
Besides its R-Value, the main advantage of Ether Light XT (whether classic, Insulated or Extreme) is undoubtedly its thickness. Hence its suffix XT for 'Extra Thick'. In fact, the Sea to Summit inflatable mattress is 10 cm thick. This will bring you much appreciated comfort after a day of hiking, especially for those who sleep on their side. You won't have the unpleasant sensation of shoulders or hips touching the ground.
For the rest, the Ether Light XT is in line with good quality hiking inflatable mattresses:
1. Optimised weight (720 or 950 g depending on the size you choose)
2. Easy inflation and deflation: non-return valve and pump bag supplied with it to avoid mouth-blowing (see how to use it below)
3. Perfect compactness for the outdoors: it fits easily into a backpack
In short, the Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Extreme inflatable mattress:
- A mattress whose main strengths are its comfort (thickness) and its insulation (R-Value)
- Thermolite insulation allowing to obtain a rendering that is at the same time compact, light and insulating
- Quality materials for a mattress that will accompany you for many years
