Description
The Katadyn BeFree water filter is the essential companion for your hikes, bivouacking trips and other outdoor adventures. Foldable and lightweight, it allows you to filter water from streams and rivers that you cross on your way. Faced with the success of the BeFree small bottle, Katadyn decided to produce its product in another format: the BeFree Gravity.
The Katadyn BeFree Gravity is a gravity water filter. In other words, you just have to hang it up and turn on the tap for the water to flow. Its 0.1 micron hollow fibre filtration technology combined with gravity make water safe to drink without any effort on your part. Bacteria and protozoa will be eliminated.
The BeFree Gravity water tank with water filter is particularly practical for outdoor group activities. Everyone can fill their bottle from this filtering water tank with a capacity of 10 litres. Supplied with an hydration hose, this simplifies the filling of the bottles. In addition, the On/Off valve is designed to adapt the flow rate which is 2 litres maximum per minute. A fast flow that will fill 4 bottles of 500 ml in a very short time.
In summary, the Katadyn BeFree Gravity water filter is ergonomic. First of all, a window allows you to see the remaining water level. Then a strap helps carry the filtering water tank or hang it at your desired height. Finally, Easy Clean Membrane™ and Free Flow Channels™ technologies make cleaning quick and easy, without backwashing. You simply have to shake the cartridge and rinse it with water.
