Julien Chorier - Ultra-Trail Runner
His story
“Born in 1980, I am an ultra-trail runner, internship organizer and lecturer. I have been a professional athlete for 10 years now and I was lucky to be able to turn my passion into a profession!
Since 2003, in addition to my sporting activity, I have been a building engineer, but also have a Doctorate in Civil Engineering and Housing Sciences.
Living in Saint-Thibaud-de-Couz in Savoy, with my wife and two daughters, I am also lucky to be able to take advantage of this perfect playground for running between mountains, forests and meadows.
I appreciate in the Ultra-Trails (running in the middle of nature over very long distances between 80 and 170km) the mountain “ultras” with many vertical drops, as on the UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) and the Diagonale des Crazy."
