Description
Contrary to their name, which might suggest that they are trail running poles, the Black Diamond Trail Cork Trekking Poles are indeed hiking poles. They are part of the ‘Trail’ series.
Their features therefore match those of the Black Diamond Trail Poles. This is a telescopic baton with 3 strands. The locking system is deployed using FlipLock® clips. These latches are strong and reliable. You can adjust the size of your poles with your bare hands or with gloves.
As for size, the adjustable length varies between 100 and 140 cm. In other words, the Black Diamond Trail Cork Poles are suitable for anyone between 147 cm and 206 cm tall. When folded, their length is only 64 cm. Ideal for clutter-free storage.
The tube is made from 7075 aluminium. This is the lightest aluminium on the market. Its advantage is that it is highly resistant. The tips are tungsten carbide as is the case with most high-quality poles. Finally, the handle is made of cork. This is the only difference between Trail Cork Poles and Trail Poles. This provides more comfort, especially over long distances (treks, GR, expeditions, etc.).
