This bag contains only freeze-dried banana slices. This Space Food product can be eaten directly without any preparation. It's 14g of freeze-dried bananas made in the USA which will provide you with carbohydrates, vitamin C and sodium.
It's a great snack for your outdoor activities that doesn't take up much space, so you can slip it into your backpack. As for the manufacturing process used, you should know that it is the same one used by the American space programs.
