The Sea to Summit Poncho Tarp is made from 70D nylon, a waterproof fabric. Its dual function allows it to be used both as a poncho and as a shelter.
The poncho being large, it can completely cover a large backpack in addition to yourself. The poncho has an ergonomic 3-panel balaclava with visor and a hood drawstring
Easily convertible into a tarp, it can then protect 2 people. It provides shelter from bad weather and the heat is better reflected. Much lighter and more compact than a tent, the tarp is useful in survival, during a hike or in a bivouac. The Sea to Summit Tarp contains 8 anchor points, which allows you to vary how you pitch it and thus better match the wind or rain.
