Vincent Hulin - Ultra-Trail Runner

His story

Vincent Hulin, 44, radio journalist at Radio France Bleu, has been a runner since 2003 and an Ultra-Trail runner since 2012. Over ten years, he has participated in the biggest marathons (Boston, Chicago, London, Berlin, Paris etc.) then since 2012 he has completed the craziest races: Diagonale des Fous, Ultra-Trail Du Mont-Blanc, Marathon des Sables, Tor des Géants, but also running across the Pyrenees. He is the author of the books "Coureur de l'Extrême 1 et 2" but also of the documentary "La course de ma vie" (Prix Emotions Festival of sports documentaries in Bressuire) which tells the story of the TransPyrénéa Trail Run.
Mixing sporting challenge with human story, Vincent Hulin went to run in Mexico with the Tarahumaras (2017) and this year he leaves for New Zealand for the stage race “Alps 2 Ocean Ultra” (a 320km self-sufficiency race)

Why did you choose Lyophilise & Co?

“I discovered Lyophilise and Co. in 2013 during the Marathon Des Sables, with the Marathon pack. I really appreciated the weight/calorie ratio, the diversity of the menus, the tastes and flavours on offer. I had the opportunity to do it again in 2016 during the Transpyrénéa with once more the obligation to carry the minimum in calories in your bag over several days of races. And in this case for New Zealand, I always appreciate these different menus offered in the pack for the week from breakfast to dinner, including snacks and lunch, listening to the advisers of Lyophilise and Co., the ergonomics of the site and speed of delivery and of course, their competitive prices.”
